So I'm testing VDP as a backup solution for two VMs. The backups look like they are successful from the recent tasks pane in vCenter, however on mounting the backups in the FLR I see 0 files 0 folders etc. The drives being backed up are NTFS on a Windows 2008 R2 server. They aren't using GPT.
Now I have two partitions on one VMDK a C:\ and an E:\. Do these partitions need to be mapped to seperate VMDKs? Is that the issue? In hindsight I guess I should have created a different disk for each and not partitioned them through Windows?
Again, the backups mount with no errors but there isn't anything in them at the FLR screen.
