Hello again from DTCC. We have a number of PXE booting diskless ESXi hosts attached to remote storage, and we're running into an issue where when we reboot or power off the machines they come back up in maintenance mode. Since this prevents us from running VMs on them, it presents a problem that we're trying to work around. Is there a way to automate the process of returning an ESXi host to service so we can have these boxes boot up ready to roll? We're trying to come up with a scripting solution to this problem on our end, but I wanted to try tapping into the community's knowledge and see if there was something obvious we were overlooking.
Thanks,
