Hi all,
I'm starting to evaluate VDR 2.0.1 to replace our current backup solution (backup exec). So far am really liking this simple application, especially the small size of the backups.
With my testing I am backing up to a CIFS share on a Windows 2008 r2 server. The backup themselves are running perfectly fine but I would like to run a post command to shutdown the windows 2008 r2 server after the backup has completed.
I've spent most of the morning looking for this solution and by now can tell that this function is not built in to VDR or really seen anyone else ask about it.
So I am wondering if anyone out there has found a solution/work around to this?
We only have about 4 vm's on a esxi 5.1+ server.
Go easy on me...I'm not that great at the command line stuff
