I conduct training sessions for my company and we use VM's with VMware Workstation 9 to house virtual machines for the course content. I have created a set of VM's all with valid Windows licenses, but when I copy them to different laptops to conduct the class, I check the licenses and it tells me I need to re-activate. Which wouldn't be a problem if it only happened once, but we have 3 different types of machines we use these VM's on to conduct these classes. When I copy the VM from the NAS drive to the machines and boot them up, I select "Moved It" to avoid changing any of the settings, but the license tells me I have 29 Days to activate after it is booted up even though the license is activated on my machine when I created the VM's.
Does anyone know of a workaround for this or if there is something in the VM I can disable from doing this check? I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to find anything online and the license activation looks very unprofessional to the students and is rather embarrassing. All help is appreciated, thank you.
