Virtual Network Editor not saving added networks

I have VMware workstation 9 running on Windows 8.

I add an additional network (VMnet2) for host-only and untick "Connect a host virtual adapter to this network" and "use local DHCP service to distribute IP address to VMs"

I then put in subnet IP of 10.0.0.0 and mask of 255.0.0.0.

I click the Apply and its look all ok in the Virtual Network Editor window, I then click ok then go back into Virtual Network Editor and VMnet2 has disappeared.

I have tried adding more than one network but still doesn't save them when I chose host-Only.

However if I chose Bridged, it saves....Help :-)
