failed to ping each other after VLAN ID was set for VXLAN

Hi,

I have two VM connected to the same VXLAN segment with VLAN ID = 0 initially. After changing the VLAN ID to say 100, both VM cannot ping each other anymore. Why would this happen? How does VXLAN handle VLAN?
