New to ESX 5 and VMWare

Dumb question, I just installed ESX5 and it keeps warning me about needing a license.  I got the 60 day license when I signed up and downloaded the software but there is no place to enter it!  I am running the Client software and am trying to create a new machine, each time I start the machine it disconnects from the ISO that I want to use to install an OS.

1.  Where do I enter the license number  and

2.  How do I install a new OS in a new VM if it keeps disconnecting the ISO as soon as I start the new VM?

Any help would be appreciated.
