I know that there's a known defect in this area as mentioned in the release notes, but as there are no details, I'm not sure it is the same issue.
Right now I see this a couple of time a day, so figured to report it here.
Below is a screenshot of a windows XP VM, but it also happens on for example Windows 7
Sometimes the VM appears to get stuck in full screen mode, the OSX menu bar mixes with a part of the full screen drop down menu bar and there's NO way to get back to any other OSX application. Trying to access an OSX application like finder will just give the VM.
The only way I've found so far to get access to any of the OSX applications is by suspending the trouble VM.
There's a few variants of this as in that sometimes you also get to see a captionbar, but no alternative with a menu.
Resuming the suspended VM makes it work normally again.
