Load balancing with 4 vmnics on 2 physical switchs

Hi !

I have an esxi 5.1 server equiped 4 vmnics (1Gb/s each) reserved for production. The first 2 insterfaces are connected to a physical switch (switch 1) and configured as etherchannel, and the others two are connected to a physical switch (switch 2) with the same configuration.

I added these 4 vmnics to a vswitch with Load balancing set to "Route based on IP hash" and all interfaces set to active adapters.

I aim to aggregate each 2 interfaces on the same physical switch so I can get 2Gbps as active intefaces, and the others as backup. Is it possible to reach that ? If so, did I made a mistake or how can I test if everything all right ?
