Do I have my VDI Deployment Storage Build correct? Am I close?

After spending some, well a considerable amount, time on this and other forums as well as researching on the web and manuals I have a plan as would like some feed back.  We are currently running vCenter and ESXi 5.X with View 4.6.1.  So far so good the occasional issue but for the most part very very stable.  We are currently running about 70 VDI Desktops 10 dedicated and the rest linked clones we are getting ready to probably double and that is the issue. Up to now we do not separate out the replica form the linked clones on storage and we do not redirect user files and all users have roaming profiles and full folder redirection.  I was working a case with VMware tech support and it was mentioned after I asked that once we hit a 100 VID VMs re-organizing storage might be a good idea.  In the end we wil end up with about 300 linked clones and 4 seperate pools.  Here is the plan

The master vm for linked clones is 20GB and after the snap shot it is still 20GB.  Once I start the process of building the pool the replica is 20GB and the individual linked clone is 2.25GB.  So I based on my reading I would put the replica on out fastest storage and the linked clones on our second fastest storage.  Correct?

Based on the above being true I would have three volumes one for the master vm, one for the replica, and another for the linked clone.  replica on fasted storage, linked clone on next fastest, and the master on slowest.

  Does this sound correct?

TIA,

Jim
