Good morning,
Setup:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Vcenter Server 5.0 running on physical server
ESX1 - Vsphere 4.0 LOCAL STORAGE
ESXi - Vsphere 5.0 iSCSI shared storage
ESXi - Vsphere 5.0 iSCSI shared storage
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I am currently trying to figure out how to remove a bunch of snapshots from my ESX 4.0 Vsphere server. I am now down to 200 MB of free space and now I cannot start one of my VMs running on this host.
I tried creating a snapshot from the Vclient, and removing all but all it does its create a new one and cannot remove any.
I need to clean up some space to be able to start the server since this is my TMG Firewall and if server is down, I would not be able to access the internet.
I looked at the Disks under Edit Configuration, and they seem to be runnning from a snapshot.
I also opened a case with VMWare but have not received a call back yet.
I wanted to know if I could temporary move a -0000XX.vmdk to clean up some space.
This would only be temporary until I get a call from VMWARE support.
Thanks in advance.
