ESXi 5.1 EVAL version and VAAI support

Hi,

I have ESXi 5.1 EVAL version installed and connected to iSCSI storage. Storage claims to support VAAI. When I try to create DataStore on this iSCSI LUN from logs I do see that ESXi server does issue SCSI-2 reservation commands.
So wanted to know if VAAI is supported in EVAL version? And if Yes then should ESXi server issue SCSI-2 reservation command if storage indeed supports VAAI?
