ESXi 5.1 - Disable Flow Control

Hello -

Found this article on disabling flow control:  http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1013413

After running the following commands, an error occurs stating "Cannot set device pause parameters:  Operation not supported".

ethtool --pause <VMNic Name> tx off rx off

ethtool --pause <VMNic Name>autoneg off

I have a Dell M620 blade with Qlogic 10Gbe 2P QMD8262-k NDC.  ESXi is running 5.1.0, 1065491.

I opened an SR with support but was told that it needed to be escalated so I am waiting for their call back.

Any help/guidance would be great.
