Virtual Machines unreachable after Esxi 5 is boot up

Hi All,

i am having a problem with the virtual machines on our esxi 5 being unreachable by ping or any other form of network access.

but i can access esxi 5 using ssh/vsphere client and can ping the esxi.

is this a known issue?

i have the exact same network card and configuration on the other esxi, but the other esxi does not have this same problem

can anyone enlighten?
