No connection to VR Server: Disk size mismatch

With several virtual machines happily replicating between two sites, using the same source and destination datastores, I am now stumped with this error.

I added replication for a new VM, and have no issues enabling the replication, but then instead of seeing the Initial Full Sync, the status of this particular VM is "Not active".

When I look at the events for that VM, I can see the warning "No connection to VR Server: Disk size mismatch".  No pre-staged VMDK's at the target site, so nothing to match up to.

The only thing odd about this VM is it's disk sizes as it was a P2V originally, so has:

Disk 1 = 25.01214695 GB

Disk 2 = 70.01176453 GB

Disk 3 = 7 GB

All thick and configured to create thick at the target site too, which has 1.05TB free space.

Any ideas?
