Hi Guys.
I have a couple of questions.
I have 2 Intel boards which support VT-d, one is a server board, 2.3GHz Xeon, the second is a 3GHz core 2 duo.
I also have a 3rd and 4th 3GHz core 2 duo. that run on gigabyte board, which fi possible I would like to add to cluster (not really all that important)
I believe that what I need is a DRM Cluster. My intent is to share all CPU and RAM across all VMs .
Is a DRM Cluster what I need?
When runing DRM Cluster, what exactly gets shared? CPU AND RAM?
How do you connect ESXI Hoster in a cluster. Gigabit NICS?
What software would I need to be able to run such a cluster? I beleieve that the basic free esxi wont do this?
When running a cluster, does VMs site on a specific host or "on both?
If using pass-though on certain devices, can you attach only to VM on the physical Host?
Lets say I have 5 HDD on each host, can they be seen collectively between the ALL HOST VMs or only on the VMs hosted on that host?
Thanks very much.
