Dear Team,
Planning to upgrade my esx3.5GA release to Update 5 207095, planning to follow below steps, please correct me if i am wrong.
1) download "upgrade-from-esx3.5-3.5.0_update05-207095.zip"
2) upload the same on ESX datastore.
3) take latest backup of all running vms and powerofff the same
4) enter host into a maintenance mode
5) take esx hostputty session
6) esxupdate --bundle=/vmfs/volumes/<datastore>/<update folder if created>/<filename>.zip update
7) reboot esx host to take effect
8) power on vms and update vmware tools
Need ur asisstance on the same.
